Unable to Install AT T Internet Security Suite
Hi,
I am unable to install the ATT Internet Security suite (aka McAfee Antivirus suite). Following are the details.
1. I have a windows 10 computer, which had a previous version of McAfee (also through ATT internet and expired). I uninstalled it using instructions on the KB article page (uninstalled from Control Panel, used pre-install tool and MCPR tool).
2. Navigated to "Download AT&T Internet Security Suite powered by McAfee" page
3. Took me through the login page and eventually to the download link page
4. Upon clicking "Download Security Suite" it takes me to generic McAfee landing page with "Buy" options (no prompt for downloads).
5. Verified that we qualify for the free version and compatibility
- 25+ Mbps Internet Plan
- Computer has 8GB RAM
- Updated to latest security patches for Windows 10
Tried many 6+ times with slight variations and no luck!

It works! But I needed to call AT&T first, and then they put me thru to McAfee. They extended my free trial (which had expired) to 395 days. Hopefully this will give them enough time to fix the problem.

This is totally unacceptable from AT&T. I am a 40 yr retiree. I have had the "free" version of AT&T Security Center for over 25 yrs. I was having problems with the newest update, so I unfortunately uninstalled it so I could reinstall. That's when I ran into this problem of the link sending me to McAfee that I would have to pay for. Why am I spending over $175/month to also pay for Security. AT&T needs to get this fixed NOW!!

This is totally unacceptable from AT&T. Obviously by these posts, this problem has been going on for over 3 months. I am a retiree and have all AT&T services. I have had the '"free" version of McAfee Security Center for over 25 yrs. I was having trouble with the latest update of the Center, so I unfortunately uninstalled it and wanted to reintall. I went to the AT&T Support to reinstall and it sends me to McAfee to select a PAID plan. Why am I spending over $175/month for TV & Internet and also have to pay for Security. AT&T needs to get this problem fixed ASAP.

I made a complaint with the FCC a couple of days ago. Today I got a call from someone in the executive office(ya right) he told me it will be sent to someone else that will call back with a resolution. I am not holding my breath for results.

When will the FREE download for the ATT McAfee Security Suite be available to download. Going to the usual place to do this takes me into McAfee's web site asking me to purchase it.
Truly hoping an ATT employee that knows about this problem can help me with this.

Has anybody been able to download the Security Suite? I tried since the beginning of the year with no luck.
McAfee says that the link on ATT website is bad. ATT says they are fixing it. It's been over 8 months and still nothing.
Beyond frustrating to say the least.

it has been months with no solution, except for links to download a trial demo. Unfortunately, it's for either for windows or the site not found. I have a mac.
