Unable to Install AT T Internet Security Suite
Hi,
I am unable to install the ATT Internet Security suite (aka McAfee Antivirus suite). Following are the details.
1. I have a windows 10 computer, which had a previous version of McAfee (also through ATT internet and expired). I uninstalled it using instructions on the KB article page (uninstalled from Control Panel, used pre-install tool and MCPR tool).
2. Navigated to "Download AT&T Internet Security Suite powered by McAfee" page
3. Took me through the login page and eventually to the download link page
4. Upon clicking "Download Security Suite" it takes me to generic McAfee landing page with "Buy" options (no prompt for downloads).
5. Verified that we qualify for the free version and compatibility
- 25+ Mbps Internet Plan
- Computer has 8GB RAM
- Updated to latest security patches for Windows 10
Tried many 6+ times with slight variations and no luck!

I recently switched to Uverse, thinking that it was equivalent to what I was getting with Comcast (i.e. includes Virus protection software, as is the standard for decent internet providers). In trying to install AT&T Internet Security on my computers, I find the same issue as described in this post.
What I find most ridiculous is that even today, AT&T is advertising this free McAfee virus protection as part of their service! If it has been missing for months, HOW can they continue to claim this benefit? I feel duped.

SgtB, this issue has been fixed. I can confirm that the problem, which had been affecting me for almost a year, is no longer present and I am able to download and install McAfee. I checked again just now to be sure it hasn't reverted.
If you log in at att.com/my and search for McAfee Security Suite in the search bar in the top right corner of the window, you should be taken to a page titled "Explore AT&T Internet Security Suite".
If you scroll to the bottom of that page, in the grey box that says "Looking for more info?" on the left, click the top link on the right side that says "Install AT&T Internet Security Suite".
On the next page, titled "Install AT&T Internet Security Suite", click on the button labelled "Get It" under Product Support -> Get AT&T Internet Security Suite
The next page, titled "AT&T Internet Security Suite powered by McAfee", is the landing page everyone has been able to get to all along, and at this point, the problem presented when clicking on the download buttons by directing users to the McAfee sales page. However, if you click on the "English Download" button now, it should take you to a dashboard showing all your current and past McAfee installations.
From this new page you will select one of two items from the dropdown: McAfee Antivirus Plus Elite Edition, or 3-User McAfee Internet Security for MAC. Assuming you're on a Windows PC, choose "McAfee Antivirus Plus Elite Edition" from the dropdown and click on DOWNLOAD.
The McAfee installer should then launch, do a scan, then install. The dashboard should then show that PC with an active subscription.
I hope that helps.

After much consternation, I was able to get it to work. Downloaded and installed on our 2 laptops.
Works great. Glad ATT got this fixed.
