Tried for an hour to preorder iPhone x on my MacBook Air using Safari. Got to the last screen to pay the sales tax and upgrade fee. Website kept saying please choose card type from the list. There was no list. Opened Chrome, went through the steps again and noticed the Visa logo now showed up when I would enter my card number. Worked perfectly after that. Good Luck

same here would not take any card for payment, every card was saying card number invalid! woke up at 2am for this frustration!!

I have been trying to ore order THREE iPhone X. Went to AT&T.com ten minutes before pre-orders opened. Waited in the Q. Tried to sign in and lo and behold, AT&T can't process my login information. So I proceed to sit in several more "Qs" all with the same result. Over an HOUR AND A HALF later, still can't log in. But, here's the kicker. If I signed up as a "New Subscriber", it brought me right to the store, allowed me to order as many as I wanted for delivery by 11/3, and was quite ready to take my money. After all of the years I have been with AT&T I've never been so disgusted in a business practice in my life. Screw the loyal existing customers, it's all about getting NEW people to sign up. So disappointed.

I’ve been trying for the last hour and a half to preorder the iPhone. I get redirected to the queue and then when I finally get in and try to login, I get a message that there’s technical difficulties. I did so much research for the preorder and I have no control on the website not being able to handle the traffic.......still haven’t been able to get my preorder through.

Are you using safari? A few people have said it’s a safari issue. I’m inclined to believe that because switching to my pc and being on chrome there fixed it for me.

I have been on AT&T for an hour and a half. Have been signed in and kicked off the pre-order screen 3 times. Now it is saying my login information is not right. Starting to get very frustrated at this point. Do not know what else to do.

This happened to me as well. I was logged on to the myAtt app at 10:30 pacific time and didn't get redirected until 12:35 but got redirected back to the que and waited another 30 minutes. I didn't actually get my order in until 1:11.
