Please help.
My prior ATT Iphone IMEI will not unlock online and parents need phone unlocked and are out of the country.
This is my prior Iphone 6s which was purchased and used by ATT until my last ugrade.

This is a customer to customer forum, not customer support and not chat. You might get a reply from ATTCares, you might not. What is the reason you can’t unlock the 6s? If you are no longer using the 6s, you need to put your unlock request in as a non customer.

I tried to unlock my Auntie's iPhone using the unlock portal,everything went fine then next day I recieved an email stating that my unlock is approved,rried putting another sim card (non atnt) to the phone but it shows sim is not accepted,tried restoring in itunes and erase all data but still show sim is not accepted. Can anyone please help me

You are no loner required to confirm the link in the confirmation email. We're sorry for the confusion.
It can take up to 2 business days to process your request. So, if you submitted a request Friday, Saturday or Sunday - it may be Wednesday before you complete your request. Once we have we will email the next steps.
You can always check your device unlock status by visiting att.com/unlockdevicestatus. Check the links for more information. Keep your eye out for the email & let us know if we can provide additional support.

I bought an unlocked iPhone new and fully paid for from Best Buy, I used at&t on it. And my phone suddenly became locked, I need to unlock it and use another sim local to me but it ain’t working. I need this resolved.

If you get a bill from AT&T is should tell you what the remaining balance is. The unlocking portal is here.
