How to fix Auto-refill?

I recently received a new bank card and I set it as payment on my auto refill accounts, but I still got a text "Your GoPhone Auto Refill payment was unsuccessful."

And I tried to set up the auto- refill again, it says " Auto Refill enrollment is currently unavailable. Please try your request again in 2 days."

What can I do for the re-registeration for my auto-refill?

Please let me know

Thanks!

Hello @zdhhuxyuan

Thank you reaching out to our Community Forums! What you described definitely sounds frustrating.  If I were running into those same errors, I would be reaching out for assistance as well.

It sounds like you may have already done this part, but just to cover all bases:

You can manage your refill through your online myAT&T account. A log-in will be required to continue. Log in to myAT&T using your 10-digit wireless number and 4-digit password (initially the last 4-digits of your wireless number), go to Profile & Settings to manage your Auto Refill.

Once logged into your account, please follow these steps:

  • At the top of the page, select Home.
  • Select Setup Auto Refill located at the bottom of the page.
  • Select the Setup Auto Refill button.
  • Enter an Auto Refill Amount. If you’re eligible for the Auto Refill Credit Program, the
  • Auto Refill amount cannot be less than $5 below your monthly rate plan. For example, if your monthly rate plan is $45, the Auto Refill amount cannot be less than $40 to qualify.
  • Select Continue
  • From the drop-down menu on the left, select your payment method.
  • Follow the prompts to check out and submit your Auto Refill.

If you still cannot get auto-refill set-up, we’ll be more than happy to help. Please send us a private message by clicking here and include your full name and a good contact number where we can reach you.

This is not "solved" since "auto" refill is not "auto" at all. I've only had a Go Phone for 3 months and it's failed twice already. My wife has one also and it's a continual problem. Fix this!

The support answer misses the point. I have the same problem as the first post. I have already been doing all of the step that were recommended... for months....and each month I get a text that says, "Your GoPhone Auto Refill payment was unsuccessful."  I will then manually make the payment and try to set up auto refill and get "Auto Refill enrollment is currently unavailable. Please try your request again in 2 days." When I tryi again in 2 or more days, it still gives me the same error: " Auto Refill enrollment is currently unavailable. Please try your request again in 2 days."
The auto refill button is permantly off. When I click to turn it on, I get the same error message as above. What else can be done?  ATT, make it easier for customers to auto pay! On the bright side, when I switch to another carrier, I won't have the issue of stopping automatic payments.

Seriously Ive done this for 3+ MONTHS. Ive called to be looped back to start after giving my payment info and supposedly getting moved to the agreement dept or something, and Ive tried online. I was on the phone until 2am last month and not one person out of 7 loop arounds offered to give me the current month at the discount. Online is was unavailable try again in twodays. For three months give me a break people it is filling fine on my kids cell.

I once again got it cut off today because it never was available last month I guess, though I sure thought Id finally set it up, maybe by 3am I paid it and said forget it. I'm not paying $5 extra doillars for a FOURTH month because you cant make a system work. This is such bull. Who cares what the steps are if we are stopped with a technical difficulty that certainly feels a lot more like a scam? I'm so ill about taking $5 up the rear for 4 months that Id rather kill this phone with fire than do it again.

Yall cut the phone off, its all on your end, yet "Try again in two days." For MONTHS. Yea because all of us can go months without service hoping two days is two days this one time.

Its been doing this to me since at least May's cycle and calling is no better. I get through my card number, etc, then they transfer me to a dept thats supposed to do the terms and make me agree to the withdrawal, but instead it looped me to the greeeting at the start of the initial call. 7 or 8 TIMES. And I swear I was so worried theyd charge my card everytime they took it. This is a scam period, I am so glad yall posted this because I will NOT turn mine back on. As far as Im concerned they owe me the $5 lost for 3 months plus the advertised savings on this month, because theres no shortage of marketing for it but it hasnt worked for the majority of 2016 minimum. That is REALLY dishonest.

Maybe it would be better to switch the carrier. I am having the same problem which says that My auto refill was unsucessful. When I try to set up it again, I am not allowed to do so. Is that happening because AT&T wants us to pay the $5 extra dolars that we should sabe by setting up the auto refill? Or is it just for giving us more reasons to go for other company?
