The customer you are trying to reach isn't accepting calls at this time

Yesterday I was trying to call someone and kept getting a recording of the customer you are trying to reach is not accepting calls at this time. I see in the forum that this means blocked or non payment. Well I know its not for non-payment because I am on the account as well. So my question is...if my number was blocked would the person I was trying to call see the missed calls from me? Also if I was blocked would my texts go through? This has happened before and the person says its the phone that's acting funny. But then I was told by the person that they could see the missed calls and I never received a blocked message when my texts were sent.

I keep having co-workers tell me they are getting this message when calling me. None of the above are true. I'm in sales, and when my customers can't get me, I lose money. Any other ideas ?

A phone number 716-957-**** (always different last four digits) calls me at least once a week but when I call back I get the message that they aren't accepting calls. How do I find out who keeps calling me if they call from different numbers?

When I call my friend the phone says the customer is no longer in service. What does this mean and his text message says that it's not a working number. Do his emails get to my friend because they say replied when I send them

What I learned at the ATT store today is that if your phone is set-up to not accept calls while you are driving it simply tells the caller you are unavailable. It does not make a record of the incoming call and it does not go to voicemail. If your have a bluetooth device connected you are allowed to take the call. I had the feature turned off on my phone.

STUPID!!!! Why would it not go to voicemail or at least make a record of the4 incoming call?

I believe your phone may be set on a schedule for do not disturb. You can set exceptions for the do not disturb like certain contacts and alarms depending on  how sophisticated your phone is. You can find this in settings under Sound and Vibrations or in the drop down, again, depending on phone.

Good luck

Go to extension app on your device, call setting, tap on Call block, remove numbers on call block list if any, then try calling again.

The person I’m calling has a recording “the person you are trying to reach is not accepting calls at this time”. Their bill is paid because I paid it myself and I’m not blocked, called from another number. What’s the problem? This is an ongoing issue. Even bought a different phone at one point.
