Moving apps to sd card on a Maven 2

I see that my phone doesn't give me the option to move apps to the sd card. Is there another way around this, or am I stuck with only 8gigs on the phone?

I tried all of that too. I ever all tech support and they couldn't help even after being on the phone for 45 mins. The 3rd card affects more like a thumb drive or memory stick that I would use for my laptop instead of the way a 3rd card should for an Android smart phone. Which is ridiculous. I bought 3 of these for Christmas. And all 3 have the very same problem. The company that made the phone should be held accountable for their faulty equipment. My disabled daughters are very upset and can not understand that they can not have a bunch of apps to play with or just take some pics with out fear of over loading the memory and I don't know maybe cashing the phone. Know all the sales are over and I have to go pay full price for me phones on a monthly income. I can't do that with it saving up. Try telling an autistic child they have to wait for something that is normally used for their coping skills. Please find a fix!!

Yes you are stuck with the internal memory that's available. You CANNOT move applications to SD. Only "app data" which is not the app itself.

SD Card is for media storage, not apps. It's a limitation of Android

The SD card is for storing whatever the person who paid for it feels like storing on it. This phone is a hunk of crap. On my lg phone I could move almost any apps data to my SD to free up space. On the ZTE there is no option for that with the same exact apps. I guess if I wanted to take 16 gigs worth of selfies this would be the phone for me. But I'm not really that great looking. So this phone sucks.

I'm in the same boat as everyone else here. I bought the phone so I could have more memory and space from my old phone. My boyfriend bought me a 16gb SD card and it's useless. This really stinks. Now I'm out for a phone that doesn't allow me to even install a few apps. I have eBay, Etsy, two bank apps, Pandora, and a few photos on the phone for work. It's "full" and keeps giving me memory errors. I'm highly disappointed. The sales rep told me this phone could use an SD card for storage and that it would give me a lot more space than the old phone I was using. Bummer.

NOT a limitation of Android. It is a limitation of the Maven 2. I had a Fusion and Fusion 2 android phone and could move most of my downloaded apps to the SD card (ie: Facebook, FB Messenger, Instagram, etc).

My Fusion died recently and they don't make them anymore so I got a Maven 2 and find out I can't move my apps. AT&T should either fix this, as it WAS available on previous AT&T android phones OR STOP putting on so many pre-loaded apps that we can't get rid of to free up space!

its a limitation on the marshmallow and nougat.  You can make the sd card adaptable storage but they may have removed that feature like samsung did.

Uh no... It's not a limitation of marshmallow and nougat, it's a limitation of the Maven 2. Why isn't anyone listening? Every Android I've had let's you move apps to your SD card except this useless piece of junk. I switched to ATT because they have better plans and coverage but I had no idea this phone would be so awful. 8 gigs of storage but 6.5 already taken up right out of the box? Horrendous! Why can't we move even a single app to the SD card like every other Android phone...
