Unable to access certain websites

I recently tried accessing https://www.statefarm.com/ but am getting the following error message: "Error code: Technical Error 403" with a Support ID number.  No device on my network is able to access it.  I'm able to access it no problem if I use my cellular connection.  This is the tracert.

I have a similar problem when trying to pay my waterbill.  When I click a link to go to the vendor site to actually pay, the connection times out.  No problem when I do this on my cellular connection.

Hey there sylvyr33, we'd be glad to help you access these websites!

Try the following troubleshooting options from our article that covers the topic of websites not working:

We also recommend restarting your gateway to refresh your Internet connection. Just unplug the power connection behind the gateway for about 15 seconds, then plug it back in and wait for the Broadband light to turn green.

Let us know if this helped, or if you need further assistance!

I have tried these steps and still facing the same issue.  I've tried using a different device for my DNS and still was not able to access the sites mentioned.

Thanks for getting back to us, sylvyr33!

We'd like to make sure this isn't being caused by the speed being too slow to establish a good connection. Test your connection and let us know if the speed is exactly where it should be, or if it could be improved.

We also recommend running diagnostics, since our previous suggestions didn't help. This is a more thorough troubleshooting process that could help you find a resolution.

Be sure to keep us posted!

The speed is as it should be ~1gb.  I ran the diagnostics test in the gateway and all 4 tests passed.

I tried  using a different DNS as still getting the same errors.

It may be that State Farm is blocking your home IP address.  I'd suggest contacting their tech support people and see if they can shed any light on that particular issue.

I have this same problem when I try to access my websites email I will not connect nor will it access two different email servers I use in outlook for different email address.  The only way that I can get it to connect is if I use protonVPN and get a different IP address and it routes correctly see the example the first one is not on ProtonVPN

You can clearly see that it has no problem when on a VPN but if I am not and only on ATT Fiber ATT has a problem in the routing table. I have seen multiple threads on this same issue that date back two years all with the same issue. It seems that when it jumps onto the cogenco network is where the problem is which is the same for others with the same issue.
There is no need to call ATT support as at that level they are not equipped to handle routing issue and sending a tech out here will not resolve the issue so neither phone support or a tech can get me to the backend folks that can resolve this issue.  Many people whom had posted this same issue on the forums have suddenly had it resolved because someone saw it and was able to get it to the correct people who can resolve this issue.

This is not the first time I have seen this issue as it was seen when I was on ATT Uverse copper and anything that hit the cogenco network had routing issues.

I hope someone from ATT will see this post and be able to assist if so before you ask Yes I have done all of the unplugging of the router, flushing DNS and cache I have tried all of the steps this isnt my first rodeo and I do this for a living so I know what I am doing.  But I have no control over the routing table that ATT uses
Please help

Thanks

I am having the exact same issue. A social media site I use often just refuses to work after I got new att&t wifi.

Try the following troubleshooting options from our article that covers the topic of websites not working:

I tried all of these and resetting the wifi router. Tumblr.com does not load for me. I have had so much trouble getting anything to load on tumblr the moment we got this new wifi.

I am having the exact same issue. A social media site I use often just refuses to work after I got new att&t wifi.

Try the following troubleshooting options from our article that covers the topic of websites not working:

Delete cache and cookies - Think of this as housekeeping for the browser.
Flush DNS - It may improve how web pages load.
Disable IPv6 - It may improve browser load times.

I tried all of these and resetting the wifi router. Tumblr.com does not load for me. I have had so much trouble getting anything to load on tumblr the moment we got this new wifi.

please help this new wifi hub thing I was sent has been nothing but a headache and my family is this close to just returning it.
