Hi- I am traveling to Mexico next week and do not want people calling my cell phone to know I am out of the country. If someone based in the USA calls my phone while I am in Mexico, will they be able to tell I am not in the USA by the sound of the ring tone?

I have texted and called someone on my own account a few times and wanted to see if they received. I do not show it on my call log or that persons, does this mean they’ve blocked me. I can see calls and texts logs from two months ago but not others in the last couple of months that I have sent.
