Hi @SoonerAl!

Thank you for highlighting Apple releasing their 10.2 update!

Apple’s most recent update does indeed come with new enhancements and features. One of the key points is the addition of the TV app, which allows you to view your movies and TV shows all in one place.

Included are also redesigned emojis and even brand new ones! There are improvements made to Photos, Messages, Music, News, and Mail. A majority of them are performance enhancements.

More information can be found in Apple’s article which covers all the changes in greater detail.

Thank you for sharing this information and have an excellent day!

Another surprise was the implementation of two factor authentication. After the update completed, I had to enter a second code sent to another "trusted" number in order to login to iCloud.

FWIW I have used two factor authentication on as many accounts, e.g. Apple, Google, etc, as possible the last few years.

Any big changes with AT&T Carrier settings 27.0.1 (as opposed to the previous 26.0)?

Hello, @JohnnyDoe!

I’m glad you are interested in our upcoming Carrier Settings update! We do not have any specific information about what this update would include, but rest assured, once we do, it will be available to you!

I’m eagerly awaiting it as much as you are! Have a great rest of your day!

Hello @matinindy!

Thank you for posting your concern! I am sorry to hear you started having problems after the update. I understand this is very inconvenient, but don’t worry we can work together in resolving the service issue.

I will walk you step-by-step through the troubleshooting process. If the issue started after a software update, you will want to make sure your carrier settings are also updated. Please go to Settings > General > About and wait about 10 seconds to see if a message pops up indicating there is a new update.

Also, I recommend resetting the Network settings on your phone. This factory defaults your cellular connection. Keep in mind you will have to re-add your Wi-Fi networks. After completing this, the ‘No Service’ error should disappear.

Another step I suggest is to remove your SIM card, clean it with a soft cloth and re-insert it to test the service.

If none of these steps work, please utilize our great AT&T Troubleshoot & Resolve tool to follow additional steps. Make sure to select the make and model of your device > under the section Service/Network issue, click on Phone calls and follow the indications to complete the process.

I hope these options resolve your service concern. Please let me know if you have any other questions!

Have a nice day!
