In order to use cellular data, you must have both cellular data and data roaming on. The rule I always follow is always leave cellular data on but leave data roaming off and only turn it on when I want to use cellular data and then turn it off when done. If left on your iPhone will use up your allotment of data very quickly. Your ability to receive email when on wifi is t...

ATT does not do customer support through email. You can use the private message feature of this forum and send a private message to @ATTU-verseCare .

@RitaGee12 Do you see the item at the bottom of David606's post that says "I am an AT&T employee and the postings on this site are my own and don’t necessarily represent ATT's position, strategies or opinions"? Well, I can tell you from experience it is true. That disclaimer is required for an employee to post here but they are not "on the job". When posting here, he is ...

Have you turned cellular data off? You must have an active cellular data connection to send or receive a picture or video message.

Make sure you go to a corporate ATT store. They will provide a new sim for free, an authorized retailer will most likely charge you.

@Genericfemale Sorry but there is no email address for customer support. ATT does not conduct customer support through email. The closest you can get to email is use the private message feature of this forum and send a private message to @ATTMobilityCare .

@Kathiroark That is not a charge for VVM. That is your line fee for unlimited talk and text. VVM is only listed because it is an iPhone. That ensures your line is properly setup to include VVM.

No, you've got it right. The $45 plan includes 3GB of high speed data and the $60 plan includes 6GB. I have no idea why you show only 20mb left but yes it is very possible to use 3GB in a day.

That depends on whether your plan supports hotspot or not. What hotspot app are you talking about? Most phones have hotspot as a built in feature of the phone.

You don't need a new SIM card. What you need is to get off the plan you share with your ex. If you are the account owner, she needs to get her own account and plan. If she is the account owner, you need to move your line to your own account and plan. Either way, that is done by doing a Transfer of Billing Responsibility on her or your line. More info on that here: https:/...

Your monthly bill should decrease by whatever your installment payment was. So if the only other charges on your bill are for access and service, then yes. However, if you have other charges such as insurance, they will still be there.

You don't have a wireless number since you are not an ATT customer but you don't need it. At the top of the unlock portal page, click "No" on the "Are you an AT&T wireless customer?" line. Just the make, model and imei of your phone is required.

@Mdeleon I highly advise you leave data roaming off and only turn it on when you want to use cellular data and then turn it off when done. If left on, your phone will use up what little passport data you get very quickly. You can still send regular SMS texts and MMS picture messages with data roaming off. I would also not bother with the passport app. It is only used to ...

Yes you can use your phone in Mexico but the cost depends on what plan you have. If you have the right plan, use in Mexico is covered by your plan with no additional charges. What plan do you have?

That depends on which Next plan you picked. Upgrade points are 12 or 24 months. There used to be a Next plan that allowed upgrades after 18 months but that seems to have been discontinued. You can upgrade now by making additional payments to your upgrade point.

Adding someone to your account definitely should not cause you to lose your unlimited data plan. However, I'm guessing you have the grandfathered unlimited data and Family Talk plan. You can not add your boyfriend to that plan, he will have to pick a mobile share plan. In other words you will have two different plans on your account. Regarding changing the account owner y...

iPhones automatically add the appropriate country code when roaming internationally. I don't know about S7's. My guess is you're not including the country code to complete the call.
