NVG589 battery

Wanting to buy a battery for nvg589 because I have Ooma voip. Arris.com has them, but the website is not secure. Http instead of https. Don't want to add credit card # if not secure. Anyone know where to buy a battery from a secure website?

I do not see any other way to buy them (other than used, i.e. discharged ones in lots of 32 from eBay). However, the "http://www.arrismodemsite.com/" that you get redirected to from the Arris site is actually just a renaming for a site managed by "rocketquotes.com" and uses many SSL links internally. I'd suggest that if you want to purchase this battery, that you could use this link

https://harpink--ar.rocketquotes.com/storefront/register.htm?ssid=

to register on an SSL site, and keep your eyes on the SSL indicator on each page and restore the https:// anytime it goes away. I'd still be a bit nervous about the way they handle security. It may be that the credit card security is a little bit better than their profile security, though I have no reason to believe that (other than the Federal requirements).
