Cannot log in to att.net

Why not just go to Uverse Online directly?  I got in thru att.net link on the bottom of evey page here and clicked on Uverse on top of att.net.  Took me there and just had to click sign in and it brought my 2 week sign in on Uverse Online.

That's exactly where I tried to log in. The log in page is redirected to att.net. It automatically directed to login failiur and back to uverse. Such bad experience.
