How am i receiving calls from disconnected numbers

I get ghost calls from randomly changing numbers about once a day, typically in the middle of the night.  They also usually leave a message, blank but takes up message space and indicates I have a message.  I call the numbers back sometimes and they are always not a working number.  I can block each time but they always come from a new number.  Any ideas on what to do to stop this madness?

Well excellent thoughts in your comments
We have 4 lines that are mobile and 5 tracking numbers online
None of these calls are any different
This is the exact same robotic computer dialer.
These type of calls resembles away for google to spam out the competition
Because they now have a lead service for service businesses
And they put it on the top of search on mobile.
I believe because I have great ratings
Lots of customers willing to search my name
HeyI can not help that I named the company after a keyword because I refuse
to pay google to allow me on your engine
Believe it or not if you check your local reports
Google is hiding how they get there data
Its because they are the trojan horse in my business api.
They decide if I get a spam call off their cloud or they send that computer
robot
Ran by Automatic Intelligence
All phone calls work from ai interpole centers
All data servers
Google allows certain levels of partnerships to access.
They trigger high spam calls during higher call times
If I am the number one company on search organically
They have to allow so much traffic to my site period
They do not have to show me in every search
So this is how they keep us locked up
Most importantly
They have it where the lead directory they are calling google verified
Only allows text and calls no email....
It is obvious the Google world is never a winner for small companies period.
Now they are using intelligence to create double situations on those local
services
That will not sign up with them
They called 5 different locations we have in my group of tree guys that all
market with me
Every one of those locations recieved data reports from each adding a bad
number or bad address to the name
So final thought.
I replaced my phones with a cloud server
That keeps ai machine learning bots busy calling themselves
Over next month I am doing A/b / c testing
Leaving certain numbers with spam blockers and robo
killer
Most importantly moving my phones around not using the same server
Specifically maintaining a test for law suit against google yahoo and bing
By may 2019
Over 20000 companies are wanting to sue. These search bullies
Catering to the high society in local market
Putting all service business in a platform with no website
Also
The data in the local focuses around one review over 2 yrs old 1/ 2 the
time
I have 17 new reviews
Yet they show that one as 3 months old.
Also they have hired social companies to call and act as a client and seek
information and later use it to bid against us as a lead generation company.
They are supposed to stay neutral.
However our data shows spoofed numbers calling acting as clients
We stopped giving quotes over phones
Then they started using insurance agents real
estate agents ect.
All to gain their own data of our market
So GOOGLE CAN COMPETITE
GOOD LUCK BUDDY
I HIRED A SECURITY TEAM BACKED BY THE GOVERNMENT

This is so wildly inaccurate and ignorant it should be removed by the mods. If you have a complete lack of understanding of how the current phone network works please refrain from posting grossly inaccurate information, someone more ignorant may believe you.

@IgnoranceProof

I think the rambling nature of the post is pretty likely to be discounted.  The moderators don’t remove opinion posts just because the writer is delusional or wrong.  He hasn’t broken any guidelines.

Um . . . No.  It’s easier to let it speak for itself anyway.

Then, who should find first that wood substitute was used, before it breaks in our hands? The tremendous effort to identify the real from fake should be made by those entitled with this duty. Otherwise more and more answering machines will get  clogged with ghost messages and people will stop using the useless landlines with horrible cnsequences. Grim perspective. Let alone those very old, or handicapped I mentioned before.

Yes.  And the protocol to do this is called STIR and SHAKEN.  Google it.  You may think everyone is sitting on their hands.  Not the case.

Read the information provided in post 70.

Legit telemarketing only use multiple land line numbers and follow the law when you request to be removed from their dialer list. You are getting calls from criminals! Criminals call at all hours and don't care if your numbers are on the DNC registry. You have to report calls to the FTC and FCC, if your number is registered. Callers don't have DNC numbers, it's not magic! Tell them to stop calling or don't answer and block unsolicited calls.

"AT&T charges for [anything they can get away with...]..."  Exactly why I quit "AwfulTerrible&TOOexpensive" forty years ago and would NEVER have anything to do with them again!
