Hey @Edbellamy, we understand that you are not receiving emails from sender. We’re glad to help and let’s walk you through the right path.

We would like to ask you a few questions.

  1. Have you checked your spam or junk folders? AT&T.net has a built-in spam feature. Sometimes legit emails from companies are put into the spam folder by accident. The spam filter listens for keywords, and then it filters the email out.
  2. Are you using the webmail or an email app or client? The support is different between the two.
  3. Has the company or companies contacted you to say that they have been trying to reach you by email and their emails are being returned? If so, then the concern is on the companies end. If that is the case and the company believes they are being blocked, they can forward the blocking message to abuse_rbl@abuse-att.net and we can get that sorted out.
  4. Have you tried emailing the company or companies directly? Have they been able to respond?

Follow the troubleshooting steps in the AT&T Mail account and settings section of our Resolve email issues guide.

We also suggest troubleshooting your email client by following these steps from our Login and Email Solutions article:

Also, you can use our postmaster support article to find out more information on how to resolve common email concerns.

Let us know if this helps.
Thank you for reaching out on AT&T Community & Forums.

This problem is being reported on multiple AT&T community forum threads.  One user provided the following info -- perhaps AT&T Customer Support could provide an update on resolution of outage ticket number 1605187 (listed below).‎Not receiving all incoming messages | Page 3 | AT&T Community Forums (att.com)

"From AT&T Technical Support via chat:

"As I checked from my end with the network team there was an ongoing outage issue email server outage that is the reason you are facing this issue and many of the user has been facing this issue and in this case i have raised the complaint to the network team to fix the issue at the earliest and and once the email server outage is fixed you will able to access your email without any issue and you can raise the ticket about that att.com/myemailinfo.  during this server outage you will not receive any email and after the server email outage issue fixed you will able to receive all emails from your end and you can send your email without any issues.  our network server team is already working on that and this is the outage ticket number 1605187 and in this case we don't want to give the fake information about the issue and as per latest report this is the testing and updating outage only and it will be fixed very soon."

But all missed emails are lost.  Senders are beginning to get undeliverable messages.

Same issue here.  Can access my email fine, both via Outlook and Yahoo Mail/Currently.  I'm receiving some email, but emails that people tell me they send is come in hours later.  One email that they sent at 12:20pm yesterday, came in at 6:56am today.  Other emails (specifically with attachments) are coming in that I know were sent.  I've checked with my personal email and a friend's work email.  I've checked rules and don't have any setup.  I've checked my spam folder, junk, bulk mail, Even tried searching, still not there.

***** just saw that someone at ATT finally acknowledged the issue, and there is an open ticket (1605187) now  **********

**** Looks like it's affecting sending email as well.  Sent an email from Bellsouth to gmail account, sent at 7:58am, received in my mailbox at 8:10am.

I am still having the problem. It seems one email might get through but then nothing else. @@Att I have tried all what you asked and it does not help.  Hopefully this outage will be fixed soon? Do you have an eta?
