Trying to cascade ARRIS BGW210 to another router, need help with the Network Address.
I plan to split my network up a bit to have certain devices on secondary router. My AT&T router is a ARRIS BGW210-700 that I want to use as my main router and have it cascaded to a secondary router, a Linkys EA6500 that also has dd-wrt installed. I have everything set up right for the secondary router(different and non conflicting IP's, SSID's, radio channels, etc.). Only issue setting up the cascade feature on the ARRIS BGW210 router.
Things I did for the ARRIS router:
1) I set the router to IP Passthrough
2) DHCP-Fix
3) Chose the device's MAC address(in my case my Linkys router)
3a) Passthrough DHCP Lease(wasn't sure what to set this but the default was set at 10 minutes)
4) Then save
5) Went over to Subnets & DHCP
6) Turned on Cascaded Router option
7) Entered the Cascaded Router Address
8) Network Address????
Everything went smoothly but the cascade option is asking for a Network Address or a WAN address, I'm guessing. Where do I find this? Is this something I have to come up with myself? I always assumed that the router would take care of that unless I'm missing an option.

Cascaded router is used for people who have purchased a /29 block of public addresses. If you aren't spending $15/mo for static IP4 addresses, this isn't for you.
After enabling IP Passthrough, renew your WAN address in DD-WRT and you should now have a public address. Nothing else needed.
Optionally, you can disable the BGW firewall and packet filter and allow DD-WRT to handle that. In DD-WRT, I would utilize a different DNS server (personally prefer Cloudfare) and enable DNS over TLS.

Hopefully someone can help, it may have been answered but not sure.
I have a BGW210-700 that will be used as the main home wifi router. The AT&T internet line comes from outside directly into it patched from the wall. The home owner has 2 more building that he wants to extend internet using CAT6 going from one of the available ports of the BGW into another TP-Link Router in the next buidling to control the sprinkler system. Then he wants another cable ran to another building into another wifi NetGear router to provide internet in that 3rd building.
Can the BGW router be configured to accomplish this? It is basically a daisy chain of hard wired routers, that provide wifi to their respective locations being fed by the main home router.
The default IP of the BGW is 192.168.1.254.
TP link is 192.168.0.1
Netgear is 192.168.1.1
Is there a bridging option or IP passthrough where the wifi option is still used on the main router?
What would the settings be set to on the BGW main router for this to happen?
Thank you all for your time and hope you can help,

Hey @jguz82abn, we understand you have a question related to what can be done for your setup.
Please let us know if that helps.

I would like to use my EdgeRouter ER-4 and I am not able to get IP Passthrough to work correctly and I really don't want to purchase a block of IP's just to use my own equipment.
I can get most everything to work but port forwarding is not passing through the Nokia BGW320-505.
