Hello @Ivanc2012

It's understood that you're experiencing some trouble connecting your PS4 through the AT&T network. We're glad to review and offer some help through our Forum.

Upon research, using the Playstation web site to review codes, entering WS-37400-4 finds no matching results.  However, upon other findings, it's not specific to Internet connection but rather the system not connecting to the PSN Network. What is found is that once you connect to another source (hotspot), and from there, go back to the Internet set up and reconnect Wi-Fi the system may connect to the PSN Network using your Wi-Fi again.

If this does not resolve, try to reset your RG (Residential Gateway) as follows:

  1. Press and hold the Reset button on the gateway for at least 10 seconds. If you let go before 10 seconds, the gateway will reboot, but it won't reset.
  2. Wait until the gateway restarts and all the status lights are lit.
  3. See if the Broadband or Service status lights are solid green.
After doing so, restore your network settings on the PS4 and attempt to reconnect. You can find some good information on the Playstation Support Page, specific to network connection info.

Are you the AT&T Account holder which has full access to all device connections? Make sure the PS4 is not getting turned off through the AT&T Smart Home Manager. If you have anyone in the home managing Wi-Fi connected devices, it's possible that content filters, time limits, etc are creating a PSN login issue.

Well, the PlayStation network connection issues are common problem and generally occurs due to IP address changed or banned, or due to internet connection issues.

So, try to modify the DNS settings as the blocked IP address can also causes PlayStation network connection issues.

  • Go to your console Settings > Network > Internet Connection Setup> choose Use Wi-Fi > choose
  • Now choose the WIFI networkaccording to your choice > and set the IP Address Settings as ‘Automatic.’
  • Then, on the DHCP Host Name Service> choose the option Do Not Specify.
  • And under DNS Settings> choose Manual and enter the given Google DNS and click Next
    • Primary DNS: 8.8.8.8
    • Secondary DNS: 8.8.4.4
  • On seeing MTU Settings > choose Manual and set the value to
  • Under Proxy Server >click Do Not Use > and click on Test Internet Connection.

Hope this works for you to fix Playstation Network Connection failed but if not then try rebuilding the PS4 database.

It may be IP of mobile hotspot conflict in your system or running other thing in your system. You can set up it on default and connect.
