Mcafee CPU usage issue

Just a observation. I found that Mcafee was running between 60-100% of cpu. Not sure what triggered it. I noted on the web this seems to be a long standing issue with that software.  I replaced it with AVAST.

Since I think of Uverse as having high quality in every area. I thought I would register the issue so you could take it up with Mcafee to see if they will fix it or add this to your considererations  the next time the Mcafee contract comes up.  Thanks

Yeah, you shouldn't use McAfee.  There are too many other free and much better anti-virus programs available.

DO NOT INSTALL! It is incredibly bloated and WILL slow your system down dramatically. It will also disable ALL networked printers and filesharing (even local). It is obtrusive and should not be considered a "benefit" at all.
