How to do port forwarding for microsoft RD

Hello, Im trying to set up a RD gateway so I can use microsoft's remote desktop app for outside of network connections. One prerequisite is to setup port forwarding on my router. I have gone toyhe router's  Device -> Remote access and enabled remote access. When I set the public ip address and gateway port for the remote app, it seems to connect to something asking my password, but after providing this, it fails to connect. Have I set up port forwarding incorrectly for this router?

This page has nothing to do with what you need to do.  You should click the Disable Remote Access button.

Port Forwarding is on the Firewall > NAT/Gaming tab.

Hey there @haditj66. Thanks for reaching out to us, and we'd be happy to help you set up port forwarding.

We appreciate @JefferMC for sharing that correct information that you'll need to do this under the Firewall > NAT/Gaming tab.

We'd recommend you check out our information on how to set up port forwarding. You'll need to choose which gateway you have, and then follow the ste[s that are provided.

Let us know if this helps.
