Hi @gannytimes4, thanks for reaching out.
The login process may have changed to be handled through the AT&http://sm.att.com/a70ef769 system. When you get to the AT&T Login page, have you tried entering your Bellsouth username and password to see if it allows you access?
If that does not allow you access, we'd suggest trying to reset your password using the forgot password link on that same page.

did this issue ever get solved? I just asked someone with AT&T customer service & was basically told I was out of luck. There has to be a way to get my email on my laptop if I can get them on my iPhone/iPad...I just believe there has to be

Does anyone respond to these questions any more? I have same problem setting up on Windows LiveMail 2012.
I am able to set up my Yahoo.com email account, but not Bellsouth.net account. Responds that I am using invalid login or password.

Three days ago my Outlook 2010 started asking for my username and pw, even though I have it checked as saved to my password list. Outlook is my client email and bellsouth/att/yahoo/currently whatever is my host. I CAN access my email directly at https://currently.att.yahoo.com/ , but Outlook cannot pull emails through to my longstanding account. Why all of a sudden is Outlook looking for my username and pw? Not tech savvy so any help would be appreciated, especially if I can avoid being on the phone for 3 hours like the last time I had a problem. Thanks in advance
