At&t hotspot map

Where can I find a map of at&t wifi hotspot map! Not 5g or 4g service map. I want a map of available free at&t wifi hotspot locations available to at&t internet subscribers.

Hey @alcoserfredrick, let's get you more information about public hotspots.

At this time there is no map to show the exact locations of public AT&T hotspots. You can find them in public places like coffee shops, airports, and restaurants. They’re available nationwide. It’s easy to identify AT&T Wi-Fi Hot Spots. Just look for the Wi-Fi® name attwifi. Most AT&T devices will connect automatically when your Wi-Fi is turned on.

Let us know if you have any other questions!

It looks like AT&T no longer provides that information. It used to be at https://www.att.com/maps/wifi/basic.html but has redirected to the unhelpful LTE coverage map since at least 2019, based on what I see at web.archive.org,

Duuuude, no way! Thank you for the speedy reply. I had a feeling there was no map as I have exhausted a couple days in an attempt to find said map. I do know that at&t hotspots are no way close to being as abundant as Xfinity hotspots. I rarely see at&t wifi hotspots but am always seeing Xfinity wifi hotspots. What a bummer.

Nobody in tech support knows anything about this program, and someone in the "advanced" support group told me these hotspots no longer exist. I have a Google Pixel 6 unlocked phone that works just fine on ATT except for this and no one knows how to connect to these networks if they do indeed still exist. Can I get an answer here?

Still no answer and still doesn't work. Tried again at O'Hare airport a week ago. Google Pixel 6 with Android 13.,

It looks like AT&T has moved to a new protocol called Passpoint or Hotspot 2.0 that seamlessly shares data between cellular and participating Wi-Fi partners rather than having an explicit step to join a Wi-Fi network.  https://routerctrl.com/att-wi-fi-passpoint/

But is also looks like they are moving away from Wi-Fi in favor of investing in 5G.

For traditional free Wi-Fi in ORD, see: https://www.flychicago.com/ohare/ServicesAmenities/services/Pages/technology.aspx

It seems like the old attwifi network is slowly fading away without fanfare.
