AT&T Home Base Password Reset

i have a AT&T Home Base (AT&T Wireless Home Phone and Internet). I reset the password from the default password and somehow mistyped the new password. I now cant log into the Home Base. I have tried the reset button on the Home Base (recommended time to hold the reset button is 8 sec.) and that doesn't reset the password. I remove the power and the battery and the SIM card thinking that might reset the Home Base. No luck! Has anyone been successful in resetting the Home Base password to the default password after having changed it? If so how?
