Sudden Loss of MicroCell connectivity - Please Resond

Ok guys and gals. We are seeing quite a few posts of people losing MicroCell connectivity with previously working units all of a sudden. Too many, in my opinion to be a localized issue. So, let's do this.... reply to his post with your location, just city and state, if your MicroCell was working before, you or your ISP hasn't made any changes around the time of connection loss, and all of the other lights are a solid green with the exception of the 3G light which is flashing green. The 3G light is the bottom LED on the white MicroCells and the top LED on the black MicroCell. I'll compile a list of locations and send it to the Admins next week to see if they can get any traction. In the meantime, please pm CustomerCare with your issue, what you have done to correct it, your account info, the best way for them to contact you, and your LOCATION.

One more thing. FIOS seems to coming up a lot so when you respond, please list your ISP and/or connection type.

Hello Community,

We can't thank you enough for your incredible response and feedback regarding this outage.  We are happy to report that this issue has been resolved.  If you continue to experience issues, please powercycle your Microcell to resolve.

If after performing a powercycle, you still have issues, please post in this thread with your location, brand of Microcell, and the ISP you are using.  While I don't have the official root cause, it appears to have been ISP related.  Specifically a backend system that was having issues.

As always, a very big thanks to @OttoPylot for bringing the community together to get examples and help us resolve this issue.

Which MicroCell do you have, white or black? Did it ever work? How is it setup? Who is your ISP? Are all of the lights flashing red or is it just the power or 3G light?

I just replaced my old white microcell because after several years it wouldn't connect to the network anymore.  I got a new black model and it's been working for about a week. Now this one also crapped out. I reset it completely and it's been several hours near the window and it it won't lock on. Just the solid power light and the GPS light blinks. Just like what the old one did. Is something wrong with the microcell network?

Did you receive a replacement adapter as well? If not, check the adapter with a voltmeter . It should read 16VDC +/- 0.5 with no load . If it doesn't then replace the adapter with one of the same rating and see if the problem goes away .

My M-Cell stopped working. It has power, but won't connect/sync. I've tried all troubleshooting listed in users guide and on AT&T's site. I also changed out the Ethernet cable. I'd like AT&T to replace it.

Good morning!  I get a very low signal strength from ATT in my home.  Their cure was to sell me a Cisco DPH-154.  The problem I am having is the first few moments on a call go in and out and sometimes sounds like one of the callers is in a barrel.  After a few moments of conversation it is excellent.  Is this an inherent problem with these devices or would a superior wifi router help/cure the issues?  I am using Cox Gigabite service with a Netgear R6300.  Any help or suggestions would  be greatly appreciated

We need more information than that. Only ATT Support can authorize a replacement so you'll need to contact them directly, not us. If you have an older MicroCell it could be the ac adapter and we can help you with that.

Typically call quality issues are related to line quality or router settings. You need to verify that ALL the minimum router requirements are being my as given in the setup instructions and in my Tech Guide (see link in my sig). A little more info about your setup would be helpful.

Thank you, the MicroCell is a year old. Please provide the customer support info to contact them. The site and app don't help. Thank you!
