iPhone 2g unlock ?

hello

 

why on this website AT&T is impossible to unlock my iPhone 2g ???

 

when i write my IMEI i receive this message :

 

LOOKS LIKE THE IMEI NUMBER YOU ENTERED DOESNT MATCH AN AT&T DEVICE.TRY ENTERING AGAIN.

 

my mobile phone work on AT&T

that is what I was told a year ago...  The iphone 2 was an ATT only exclusive at the time.

The original iPhone was produced before unlocking was permitted or required.  It has not been possible to unlock it for more than 1 year, even before ATT shut down 2G. 

Apple purged the IMEI ages ago and no longer supports the device.  

What you do with it is up to you.

Old IPhones can be unlock

 

i call apple and it’s very simple for them

 

Apple receive one ask from carrier to deism lock and after on iTunes is ok

 

very simple SO now I don’t understand WHY AT&T don’t take IMEI
