Att Unlock service says its not an AT&T phone... but it is!

Title says it all. I bought an AT&T phone, but when I tried to unlock it, i was told that it wasn't an AT&T phone.

I confirmed with Apple with the IMEI and the Serial # that it is AT&T phone.

Any help?

Thank you for reaching out. here are things to know about unlocking your device through AT&T. Was the iPhone on an AT&T postpaid plan for sixty days with no past due or unpaid balance, or was it on an AT&T prepaid plan for six months? If it meets that and the other requirements listed in the preceding link, let us know so we can investigate further.
