Can I use an unlocked Verizon Galaxy S5 with AT&T
Well I have a friend that wants to sell me her Galaxy s5 but its on Verizon. She unlocked it already because she was overseas in Korea but got another phone. Would I be able to put a SIM card in it and use it with my AT&T plan?

I does no work. You can not send receive MMS text and also the signal is very poor. You will not get good internet connection which it will drive you crazy. Dont do it. Get a g900a.
APN settings dont work, for MMS text. Tried all of them.

card for straighttalk. I will post my APN settings but for the future for
anyone, if you have straighttalk and byop (bring your own phone) you must
Google it this way: APN settings for Straighttalk AT&T Sim card (or Verizon
Sim card). Do not include the type of phone because that does not matter
with byop and straighttalk. It is straighttalk AT&T or straighttalk
Verizon. I think T mobile and sprint use Verizon Sim cards but I'm not
certain. Ok, so here's my APN settings:
Name: STRAIGHT_TALK
APN: to data
MMSC: http:mms-tf.net
MMS Proxy: mms3.tracphone.com
MMS Port: 80
APN Type: default, mms, supl (** no spaces in all fields between words, Esp
this field**)
I sure hope this helps! Good luck!!

I spent over two hours between the local at&t store and live chat with their technical team. No one could solve my problem. I went on youtube to the following link and it fixed my problem: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1x1pYvw0Ekw
highly recommend you check it out!

Just take your sim from your at&t phone pop it in the s6. Works all the time iv been with at$t for years there better then the other carriers because there not so controlling like sprint lol this phone is permanently locked you have to bend ove backwards for them. And Verizon wireless yea there ok but still have to call corp store... at At$t just get your imei and IP turn on your computer and work easy. But yours is done already even better. So yea old sim into new phone make sure u power off old phone before turning new one on.i got a US cellular because they have the best covage out of all the company's lol. At$t sim on a us cellular phone with great coverage. Make sure and get your developer mode unblocked if u have a droid..
