old bill which collection agency?
I have an old unpaid bill from probably 6 years ago. Id like to take care of it so i can have AT&T service again. Every number I am given at AT&T just keeps passing me back and forth. All I want is a number for the collection agency so i can put this past me. Its been a month and many, many hours and i still have no clue how to pay this old bill. HELP please!

I have this same problem, and for some reason my old account can't be located. I have called 5-6 different AT&T numbers and same answer (even the number for the collections dept) Not even using my name, date of birth or ss#. I need to pay this off ASAP.Help!!!

Is the debt in 0 on your credit report? I'm worried that even if I pay the balance, that the account will still have a pending balance on my credit report.

I also have a old three years old bill with at&t and I want the account back services with them again on u tried to get internet and the old bill came up so the next six days later I get a collection letter OK but they are offering a payment of 220. When my bill was 386 OK my thing is this if I pay it the 220. How soon will it be before it shows that I paid it to at&t so I can get services back with then or how can I do this without getting screwed
