Unlimited Data

Is unlimited data really unlimited?

There is a 23 gigabyte "soft cap" at which data MAY be slowed down to slower speeds during busy periods and congestion.

So the answer to your question is still yes. Unlimited data, even at 0.25 megabits per second, is still unlimited data. 😄

@Rexann Yes, it's unlimited amounts of data.  I'm over the 22GB soft cap and generally still getting speeds above 5Mbps-12Mbs (very very rare to get slower) at slow times, but still getting 30Mbps and higher sometimes too.

I'm not sure if I'm actually getting deprioritized because I'm over 22GB or if it's just slow this time of day.

Thank you! We are way over that (22 Gb) and seems to be running the same!

Good morning @Rexann,

Great question! I understand your concerns, it’s always best to have all the facts before making a decision.

The good news is our plans are truly unlimited, however once you reach 22GB of data usage per line (during a billing cycle) your speeds may slow down if there is network congestion in the area.

I hope this answers your question, and thank you for reaching out!
