Travelling to Jamaica sounds like an amazing adventure! I can absolutely understand wanting to stay connected while abroad and I would be happy to help you with this.

We offer a couple affordable options to keep you connect while abroad.  The first is our International Day Pass.  It is $10/day and lets you use your current plan abroad like you do in the USA.  For example, if you have our unlimited plan you will also have unlimited calls/text/data for $10 per day.  

Other ways to stay connected while abroad include turning off cellular data, using Wi-Fi only and sending texts over third-party apps.  You can find these apps by searching the Google Play store for Android and the iTunes store for iPhone.

What is the charge for roaming in Jamaica if I don't choose to purchase your Passport or Daypass options? I see on your website that roaming data costs $2.05/MB, but I'm only interested in roaming calls.

Calls are $3 per minute.  Text is 50¢ for sms, MMS is $1.30.  Data is $2.05 per megabyte (not gigabyte).    

Passport is recommended if you want to use calling

Is the $3 per minute roaming call only if I answer the phone? For instance, could I see that I'm being called by somebody on my cell and call them back on a landline for free?

As long as you don’t use Voicemail.  

@4242werwer Unanswered calls usually do not get charged but that all depends on the foreign carrier. It is possible to get charged a minute even if you don’t answer.
