AT&T did not offer the deal promised by the customer retention team

Hi All,

Called customer retention and discussed cancelling service.  The service rep promised the following deal:

15gb rollover data - $100

ipad (no contract) - $10

iphone (no contract) - $15

basic phone (no contract) -$15

iphone (contract) - $25

iphone (contract) - $25

This was on 3/19/2015.  I was excited, I switched to this plan.

Received my bill on 4/14.  The bill showed the following

15gb rollover data, mobile share value plan - $100

ipad (no contract) - $10

iphone (no contract) - $15

basic phone (no contract) -$15

iphone (contract) - $25 $40

iphone (contract) - $25 $40

I called the AT&T team.  The rep said it was clearly stated in my discussion record from the 3/19/15 phone call that this is what was promised.  However, they said the rep made an error.

How can this be?

Can anyone from AT&T help fix this?  I've called several times only to hear the same message from AT&T that said, "I am sorry, AT&T's representitive made a mistake, your phone bill is $30 more per month than we quoted you"  This is insanely frustrating.

Thanks.

That is the price for a phone line under contract. The retention rep made a mistake.

$15 is the price under contract.  I was quoted $25, which I agreed to.  AT&T fell down on their committment and charged me $40, which is unfortunate.

Perhaps may still go shop around.
