Switcher Program is totally SCREWED UP

So I was a loyal at&t customer ever since the first iPhone came out. I recently got T-Mobile for work purposes, and for about 5 months I hated the cell phone reception so after hearing about the switcher program I thought it would be a good idea to move back to at&t. Well I WAS COMPLETELY WRONG AT&T CUSTOMER SERVICE IS HORRIBLE!!!! I was completely mislead and fooled into the switcher program some at&t employee never told me the process of how it works and promised so many things but none of those things were held on their end. Only a pit of money spent on my end and now I owe over $1000 dollars to T-Mobile for keeping the line active to do the dumb switcher program. And AT&T won't accept the switcher program deal because I missed the deadline. NOBODY WANTS TO HELP!! I was spent well over 10 hours on the phone trying to get this resolved for over 4 months and called but I keep getting the runaround and don't know what to do anymore. I need serious help !!! I really want to cancel my directv and at&t because this whole package deal is just a big scam !!! Please help at&t !!!

@Scadena7 Keeping the line active? If you ported in, it should have canceled the line. I don't understand.

You owe over $1000? They only cover the first $650 of cancelation fees. You'd likely have been better keeping your phone and just paying it off (instead of losing over $350 of it's value).

All the details are at http://att.com/switch

Hey @Scadena7,

Good morning! I can definitely understand your frustration with the switcher offer, it can be complicated if someone is telling you about rather than reading it yourself. I will be more than happy to help in any way I can.

I would like to get some clarification as to your situation. You said you have a bill for $1000.00 from T-Mobile for keeping the line active. Did you port your number to AT&T? Did you miss the deadline for trading in your phone, or uploading your last bill?

I invite you private message me @ATTMobilityCare with the answers to these questions, your first and last name, your phone number, and the best time to contact you.

I look forward to working with you!

I was completely misinformed and misled by the at&t sales rep from the beginning she said we would need new numbers. Never once did she tell me I needed to keep the same number. I should have read the fine print of the deal but I took her word for it, and when you get in a deal with a company and they do not abide by the contract, the contract should be void in full. Secondly I would have closed my account but the sales rep said at&t needed the lines open to make sure it's an active line. Like I keep mentioning this whole deal was set up to make money on people's lack of knowledge and information on this topic. After doing much research into speaking to mediation about this whole ordeal. I first hope at&t steps in and helps me out in some way. Listen to the phone call "this call is being recorded for quality" lets hear what she said and promised me ?

I don't recall hearing "this call is being recorded for quality" the last few times I called.
