I have multiple AT&T accounts and IDs, which one do I use for my Wireless account?

AT&T, Helping Make Your Online Experience Easier

If you have multiple accounts, there’s a good chance you have an ID for each product you have. Each ID has its own access to a specific account you use. This can be a pain when managing multiple accounts, but it does not have to be. We have solutions to make your experience easier.

One user ID to access all of your accounts

Let’s say you have U-verse Internet, Wireless, and DIRECTV. Each service may have an ID for each account. This means 3 different IDs for 3 separate services. This can be a pain to view or manage your accounts…. Unless you chose to do something about it.

Link an ID to your account

  1. Go to My linked accounts.
  2. Select Link another account. Follow the prompts and we’ll look for other IDs or accounts that belong to you.

By doing this, you can manage your accounts with ONE ID. Your bills will not be combined unless they were combined prior. For additional information, check out our link an account support page.

You can also combine your IDs

  1. Go to My linked accounts.
  2. Select Link another account. Follow the prompts and we’ll look for other IDs that belong to you.

By doing this, you now have one single ID to access all of your accounts. Check out our combine ID page for more information.

Not all IDs are made equal

There are a few accounts that require their own ID like:

    • Some DIRECTV-only accounts (DIRECTV accounts that that haven’t moved to att.com are managed at directv.com.)
    • AT&T PREPAID accounts (Use your 10-digit wireless number for AT&T PREPAIDSM to sign in and manage your account.)
    • Digital Life accounts (Select Login on AT&T Digital Life® Home.)

For additional information, check out what accounts that can share an ID.
