Will adding more lines let me upgrade my original line early?

I'm guessing the answer to this question is no but asking just in case.

Right now I'm on the mobile share plan I think it's called, but I just have myself. If I add two family members to it with two new 2 year contracts, will this allow me to upgrade my original line with a 2 year contract as well or no?

If you are not eligible for an upgrade now, adding lines won't change that.
