Using new phone on old line?

I recently added my significant other to my plan and wondering if I can use the 5s I ordered with his line on mine? Basically we are switching phones. Does this need to be done in a store if so?

Unless they use the same size sim cards, all you need to do is swap sim cards. If they use different size sim cards, you will need to go to a corporate store and have them activate the proper sim for the proper line and phone.
