My att account

I got a email about my account *** I turned off my data for that number along with the 602 number due to way to much data being used and then the person using that phone called and talk to att bout it I want using my last 4 of my SSN changed to a code word. Here is a copy of the email I am very unhappy with this situation please have a manager call me @ *** or I will be switching carriers

You shouldn't post your name and phone number on a public forum.

 

I would advise you call AT&T customer service to see if you can resolve this issue.

 

To be honest, I'm not sure you can change it to a codeword because then you'd be unable to verify your account using the keypad on your phone.

 

I think you can set up a telephone PIN code though, but I'm not sure if that's limited to international care or if it would work for all calls.

You can call or use your online account to add a numeric passcode to the account so that anyone who calls in has to verify that number to get account info or make changes. It has to be at least 4 digits, but it's super easy to get added.
