same thing that my phone in available for the Win 10 upgrade and I will be
notified when it is available from the Carrier (ATT). ATT seems to be
dragging their feet on this and I am getting anxious to get the upgrade.
Any idea when ATT is going to come thru? Thanks,

I'd suggest considering the Insider Program, but the "Release Preview Ring".
It's quite stable, and actually has a much better overall build than the current AT&T W10m devices are getting and also typically FAR better battery life, about 50% on most phones.
Of course there are risks involved with self-updating your phone, but there's a recovery tool, in the event of a failure; I've yet to see a phone that is un-recoverable with the tool.
Or, you could wait, to see if AT&T releases W10m for the 640XL, but it's starting to look pretty bleak; in another thread ATTMobillityCares also suggests going Insider...
