@DSilvey28 Are you the original owner of the phone, or have you acquired it from someone? If you are the original owner, then log into your Microsoft Account; go to your account page and select the phone. Then click the link, Get Recovery Key.

If you are not original owner of the phone and have obtained the phone from someone then you'll need to have the person that applied the reset protection do this.

I bought phone from at&t.just over yr. Ago. Again no " get recovery key link" no nothing! Thnx for the simple solution with I already know all steps with Microsoft to get key & turn off reset. Did not,ran Windows recovery,ect..ect...ect. I knew nodody would have the answer I need. Warranty just ran out or else id get new. Guess I'll go back to internet look for hacker. Can't afford new phone. This is my last reply! I'm to %%#$ off to continue replying. Just wanted everyone to know I appreciate help. And most help I've had was with AT&T. Glenn (Frantic). Bye
