U-verse to Directv

As an ex DIRECTV subscriber and a new U-verse subscriber my question is being under contract can I go back to DIRECTV from U-verse without penalty and keep my internet. Why you ask because u-verse TV HD is terrible DIRECTV is far superior.

ATT OWNS DIRECT TV NOW..SERVICE IS THE SAME. I HAD NO TROUBLE WITH ATT, NOW I HAVE THE SAME PROBLEMS WITH DIRECT TV,HAS TAKEN A LOT OF CHANNELS AWAY FROM US AND I'M SURE THAT IN THE NEXT 2 WEEKS,I'M CUTTING THE CORD..IT'S NOT WORTH THE HASSLE WE HAVE HAD FOR 5 YEARS.THEY DON'T GIVE A DAM ABOUT CUSTOMERS THAT HAVE A BUDGET.................................CUT THE CORD AND PAY LESS....

I did send a private message but have had no response. Can't be that big of a thing either ATT will switch me back or not. If not I will stay until the earliest I can cancel and go with another service.
