Channels Missing entire seasons, episodes

Switching over from Xfinity which showed every season and episode. of every channel.      AT&T by comparison is awful.     U-verse shows one season with most or  a portion of episodes for both, cable and networks.  Deadwood, The good Doctor, I can only see one season    They also told me that SHO was unavailable but could not tell me why..    I called AT&T and they blamed it on HBO and ABC and other channels.  They suggest I call HBO to get my programs back.  i asked why HBO would hide episodes for U-verse, but not Xfinity.  No answer.    I theorize that AT&T like most all its other businesss is cutting expenses  by paying HBO and other channels less but, they don't want admit it so they stall, mitigate and blame the channels.   Getting off AT&T as soon as possible.  Horrible service.

Good morning, @GROTHMAN.

Thank you for providing us with your feedback about our U-verse On Demand show selection. We understand that you would like to watch your favorite shows at your convenience. With On Demand programming, shows are limited by the channel provider.

You can attempt to watch these shows via the AT&T app or by visiting the channel providers website and logging in with your AT&T U-verse credentials. We hope this information is helpful, let us know if you are able to locate your favorite shows this way.

If you would like more information about U-verse On Demand and understanding how it works visit the link attached above.

Twelve years of Xfinity and I never had an issue with hidden seasons.  I marched down to the AT&T store where I live and they were able to pull up multiple seasons on HBO and ABC....I can't.  So, why do I have to contact HBO to get access...isn't that what I pay AT&T for?   You're saying  I have to call every single channel and negotiate again to get previous seaons?   No, you are not better than xfinity.

All seasons of Deadwood are available at HBOgo

ETA:  Check SHOWTIME ANYTIME  for Showtime programs.  The Good Doctor is available at ABC GO

You have 3 places to look for On Demand programs:  On your TV using the On Demand button on your remote, on the Uverse app and via the network's website.

I too had xfinity and was able to watch all seasons of any premium tv series ever made On Demand without difficulty with my subscription to these channels. With AT&T Uverse i subscribe to all premium channels but can only view 1-2 seasons of a select few series on demand. This makes AT&t a far inferior service to xfinity and other cable providers that don’t limit the content you can watch on demand. Fix this AT&T! I shouldn’t have to go to an app or watch tv online when I pay $200 per month for cable tv!!!

AT&T isn't deliberately holding anything back.

Keep in mind that "Xfinity" is really Comcast, but they were so crummy they did a very basic rebrand and are trying to masquerade as a new company.

Also, why wouldn't anyone do their research when changing providers?

U-Verse is HORRIBLE!!! So many shows and episodes missing. When you try to login to another provider (HBOGO, Showtime Anytime, etc.) it won't even let you. You HAVE to go through U-Verse which is ridiculous. Also can't get U-Verse App on Apple TV. AT&T is the worst service I've ever had.

You don't have to "go through" the Uverse app to access premium channel's apps.  You do have to use your AT&T credentials to verify that you are subscribed to those channels.

HBOGo is its own app.  You'll find many more episodes of your favorite programs there like all of GoT or Big Little Lies.

When looking for programming remember that you have 4 places to look:

  1. On Demand on your TV receiver
  2. The Uverse app
  3. The network's website (ie: HBO.com)
  4. The networks app (HBOGo).

No, you're wrong. Every time I try that I get an error message but I can log into U-verse just fine. Tried to to call AT&T but nobody knew how to solve the problem.

I have HBOGo on my phone, my tablet and on my Roku so I know you CAN use your Uverse credentials.  I have no idea what you're referring to or what your issues might be.
