Hey, @Seek5253!

Thanks for reaching out! We'd be glad to help you wire up your network.

If you are trying to wire your RG to your U-verse TV receiver, you would want to do it with at least a Cat 5e. This will ensure that you are getting all your speed to your receiver.

If this isn't what you were wanting to find out, let us know! We're here to help!

Not sure exactly why ATTCares thinks you are asking about how to hook up the tv's internet connection but they are correct you should use a cat5e (ethernet) cable to one of the yellow ethernet ports on the back of the gateway if you don't want to use the tv's wifi connection or the tv doesn't support wifi or of course the tv doesn't have either.

For the tv you should use an hdmi cable from the dvr (or receiver) to one of the tv's hdmi inputs.  Given the tv is a wall mount unless you have access to the back of the tv through the wall hopefully there are hdmi ports on the side of the tv.  Not sure about the internet connections though if you want that wired.  That may need to access the back of the tv again assuming you don't want to use the wifi.

Not sure what you are asking about. Hope this helps. Fiber into the home to an ONT. Ethernet from ONT To gateway. Ethernet from gateway to stb’s, computers, other Ethernet devices.
