UVerse audio issues

We have uverse internet and cable. We had a big storm a week and a half ago that knocked out our WiFi and set top box. The set top box and router were replaced and they re-cabled everything to the street. Our WiFi works now but we have significant audio issues on our tv when streaming anything, watching live tv, or dvr. The audio drops out or skips - typically when something loud is happening like music or someone yelling. It comes and goes throughout the day and is worst at night. We can stream on devices without the audio issues and can stream on a tv in another room without the audio issues. We can play DVDs with no audio issues which makes me think it’s not an issue with the tv. We have had 3 att techs come out who cannot figure out the problem. They’re starting to suggest it’s our tv but can’t explain why we can play dvds with no issue. We never had issues before the storm. Any ideas?

Hello @ClareFern

We understand you are having audio issue with one of set top box set ups.

Have you checked the audio setting on the set top box to make sure its set right to match the audio settings on the TV?

Have you tried changing the HDMI cables?

HDMI cable was replaced. How do I check audio settings on set top box? This happens through PlayStation and fire stick so it’s not just the set top box.
