Audio Lip Sync Issue On One STB

I just got Uverse less than 90 days ago and in at least one room the audio will not sync to the video. It happens to be the room we watch TV the most. I've rebooted the box and the modem a few times and only once did the sound sync back, but shortly thereafter it goes back to an audio delay. 

 

For what it's worth, the STB is connected via HDMI directly to an LG 4K Ultra HD TV. There is no sound bar or sound receiver. I've tried connecting via optical cable and it only got more pronounced. 

 

It's frustrating, because it's not like this on every TV. Any ideas???

Might be a bad STB.  Do you have another one you could try and switch it with to see if the behavior your seeing changes?  I have a DVR and two wireless boxes.  I had an issue with the bedroom TV dropping connection.  I grabbed the other one that didn't have an issue and basically swapped them.  The issue followed the wireless box so AT&T sent me another one.  If you also have one you can determine if it's the box or maybe something else.
