 Well, Richard, AT&T Community Specialist, being a U-Verse customer for years, I feel that your response was dismissive and total BULL (wasn't allowed to type what I really thought). Who in their right mind would remove a programming guide from a broadcasting service? That's like denying road maps to truck drivers. Like others, I used the guide to see what shows and games were scheduled for that day and programmed my DVR accordingly. Yes, I read your point that we have that ability to do that in an app on a smart phone or tablet. But, it's not only hard for some of us older customers to read and maneuver on a handheld device, but some of us either do not own a smart device or just do not want to have install another app. Whoever made the decision to eliminate the programming guide should seriously reconsider and have it reinstated. This seems to be a move to dismiss the senior customers and push more toward the younger "tech savvy" generation who practically live on their smart phones. Customer service is a very important part of a business in order for it to expand. AT&T has been consistently failing in this regard lately.

@mjsoccerfan,

Honestly AT&T has the right to shut down any service at any point in time with or without reason, Uverse.com was not something that customers were paying for. This was an "Extra" that was provided with the service.

There was several issues with Uverse.com where customers could not even use it anymore due to plugin issues and cross browser support, which is not something we have any real control over as that issue lies on your own devices. Not only that but there was a lot of background work that had to be done regarding contracts and copyright agreements.

Now you can still continue to view everything, however its through the app of a mobile device as it is explained on Uverse.com .

I was looking for options to replace Uverse.com.  I came across a service realgood.com which is a free service that puts all your TV stations in one place.  I

am very impressed with the service.  You just tell it what services you have and sign in with the service and you can watch on your computer.  Also it lists the movies and the shows that are showing on all your services and all you have to do is click on the program you want to watch and if asked sign in to the service that is providing the show and you are good to go to watch it on your computer.  I found in many ways this site is much better then Uverse.com.  So check it out and see if this suits you as a substitute for Uverse.Com

Very disappointed that ATT has elected to no longer support the domain that allows me to control the

DVR from a laptop.  Much easier to use than the App on a phone.  Hope you reconsider.

@Anonymous:

When I read your post's description of realgood.com I thought to myself if what you describe is true that site isn't gong to be long for this world.  And sure enough, at the time of this post, when I checked it out (link), all I got was page that said "Currently Offline" and an email address.

Think about it.  How could a free site legally re-transmit local tv stations, or a cable service's channels, or even networks and not pay some kind of re-transmission fees?  If it's a free site how could they stay in business?  It all sounds a bit fishy to me.

Sorry I gave you the wrong address.  It is Reelgood.com.  I apologize for the error.

Also it is not retransmitting anything.  It is sending you to the legal site and you have to have an account with the service.
