Can't view programs in AT&T Uverse app

I have the AT&T Uverse app on my Android LG G6 phone. I can view schedules and set up recordings, but I don't see any options for actually viewing programs, live or recorded. Can somebody post step by step directions for doing this? I've included a screen shot of my app. It shows the "record" button but no option for viewing the program. Thanks.

You can't watch recordings using the app on Uverse.

Watch LIVE? Yes (There's a 'LIVE' option at the top of the page)

Watch On Demand? Yes

Schedule recordings? Yes

Watch recordings? No

I think I figured out the answer. If I access the three-dot menu in the upper right, I get a "live tv" option - but only for some channels. Not my local Fox affiliate, which was airing the World Cup that day, or really any of my local channels. Maybe Uverse is restricted from granting access to those channels thru its app?

I am a uverse subscriber, so that was not the issue.
