What to do with the battery when discontinuing Uverse service
when discontinuing U Verse service I was given instruction to return the router, and tuner DVR, but there were no instructions about what to do with the backup battery. Does that get returned with the other items?

No, you don’t have to return it.

Take it to a place that recycles batteries like a local battery store if you want to get rid of it.
