Greetings @Kdsanford!

It’s great you have taken advantage of the most recent software available for your device. However, the errors you mentioned should not be happening after you update your software. Let’s go over some additional steps to take!

To start, you may need to refresh the phone system to the update. I always like to recommend attempting a force restart. This will turn your device off and back on without affecting any data stored on the device. To force restart your device, press and hold the Volume down key and Power/Lock key on the device for 10-20 seconds. This performs a simulated battery disconnect.

I would also suggest trying to access your Recovery screen to clear cache. Cache is your devices background trash and unneeded files. To learn how to access your recovery menu, please click here. Select your make and model phone > View all Solutions > Troubleshooting > Reset Device, move forward to the step to access your Recovery Booting, and choose instead to clear your cache partition.

If you are still having issues with your device performance, you can always visit any Best Buy with Samsung Experience location to re-apply the software update. If the second re-application is not working, you will have to reset the phone to factory settings. You can follow the above steps listed, and choose to Reset to Factory Settings.

I hope everything works out! Have a great rest of your week.
