Can't move apps to SD card-Froyo
An advertised feature of the Froyo update was the ability to move apps to the SD card.
When I try this I get:
failed to move application not enough memory
Anyone have a solution?

Solution is to have an "external" SD card installed in the phone. Once I did this, saves were successful.

Perhaps you don't have enough space on your SD card?
or, perhaps you need to kill some currently running apps in the phone?

Thanks for responding. Of 13.03GB on SD card, 12.63GB is available. Problem occurs with no other apps running. Have you been able to move any of your apps to your SD card?

I'm seeing this as well. My guess is that AT&T is blocking this feature, like side loading apps.

Most apps these days wont let you move them to the sd card since it can hinder performace of the app since most sd cards are slower than internal storage. what app are you trying to move?and what phone do you have with what version of android?

Not all apps are elgible to be moved to SD Card
