Blackberry Pearl question

Hello

I have a Cellular One Blackberry Pearl which purchased back in Oct. '07.  Currently have an AT&T Bberry 8310 but want the Pearl as backup in case anything happens to Curve (again).  Is there a way to load the AT&T software onto the Pearl or could just use the SIM card that have? Thx!

Hey thanks guys.  I got my new BBerry 8310 today :robothappy:and am so glad.  The Curve is way better than the Pearl !

You can use the phone with your AT&T SIM card, but you'll have to have it unlocked first. Cellular One might do it for you, but I doubt it if you no longer have a contract with them. There are also pay services that you can find online that will unlock it for a fee.

...and no need for the at&t OS.  The carrier-specific settings are in the service books, not the OS itself.  I'm not even running at&t OS's on either of my BB's.
