Wrong card purchased

I purchased what I was told by a Stop n Shop Service Desk employee a $45.00 universal go phone refill card. After scratching off the pin and trying to add the$45.00 to my Boost phone it didn't work, returning to the service desk and explaining that it didn't work and I wanted my money back, I was told that they don't refund gift cards, Now I have a $45.00 go phone refill card that I have no use for, can I bring it to a ATT STORE AND GET MY $45.00 BACK??
