Because Apple feels that people want to check on their stocks performance. You can create a folder and move that app into the folder, or move it off to another screen, but because it is a stock iOS app, it is one you can not delete from the iPhone (by Apple's design).

All phones include bloat. Some is useful to you, some isn't.
I just dump it into a folder on the last screen.
